The premise

No founder is good at everything. Every founder is asked to be.

You're good at some things and bad at others. That isn't a flaw in your business, it's the shape of every business. The cost shows up quietly: the offer nobody has written down, the process that only lives in your head, the margin you've never had time to look at properly.

So we work both sides at once. Maximize what you already have, meaning the client list, the skill, the reputation in one market. And elevate what keeps you behind, meaning the gap you've been routing around for two years because hiring for it felt like too big a bet.

Fractional leadership

Executive seniority, at the fraction you need.

Most SMBs need a COO four days a month, not twenty. You get the decision-making, the systems and the accountability, without the salary, the equity or the twelve-month bet.

Operations

Fractional COO

Runs how the business actually operates. Turns what lives in your head into a process someone else can execute without you.

  • Process design and written SOPs
  • Task, pipeline and project systems
  • Capacity planning and resource scheduling
  • Vendor selection and management
  • Hiring structure and role definition
  • Reporting cadence and escalation paths
Technology

Fractional CTO

Owns the technology roadmap: what you build, what you buy, what you automate and what you retire. Then keeps the stack coherent as the business grows into it.

  • Technology roadmap and build-versus-buy calls
  • System architecture and integration
  • Automation and AI workflow design
  • Data, tracking and reporting infrastructure
  • Security, access control and compliance readiness
  • Technical hiring, vendor vetting and contract review
Specialist depth: VFX and post-production. Pipeline architecture, ShotGrid and Flow configuration, render and storage planning, and workflow automation for studios delivering at feature and episodic scale.
Market

Fractional CMO

Names what you do so buyers recognise it instantly, then builds the machine that repeats the message without you in the room.

  • Positioning and message architecture
  • Brand system and voice
  • Offer structure and pricing logic
  • Content and campaign planning
  • Outbound and warm-intro pipeline
  • Funnel measurement and iteration

Expert services

Specialist delivery, to a standard you can publish.

Specialists you would otherwise source one by one, already vetted and ready to work. Use them as the hands behind a fractional lead, or entirely on their own.

Operational running

Day-to-day tasks and business services kept moving: scheduling, documentation, coordination, follow-up, supplier and client admin.

Proofreading

Contracts, proposals, decks and public-facing copy checked for accuracy, consistency and tone before a client ever sees them.

Translation

English, French, Chinese, Arabic and more, including certified translation accepted for Canadian and American requirements. Global visibility with confidence, and no risk of publishing something that reads badly in the language that matters.

Copywriting

Website pages, sales collateral, proposals, outreach sequences and internal documentation, written to be read once and understood.

Infographic creation

Complicated numbers and processes turned into one image a client, an investor or a team can act on immediately.

Design & brand

Identity, templates and the applied system underneath them, so everything leaving the business looks like it came from the same business.

No strategy engagement required.

Plenty of founders already know exactly what they need. If that's you, skip the diagnostic entirely. Send the requirement, we confirm the specialist, the timeline and the terms, and the work starts on signature. You get expert-grade delivery without buying advice you didn't ask for.

How engagements work

Two ways in. You choose where to start.

Some businesses want the thinking first. Others already know what they need and want it delivered properly. Both routes are open, and either one can grow into the other.

Route one

Start with the thinking

For businesses that know something is off, but not exactly what, or where the fix should start.

  1. Diagnostic

Two weeks. We go through operations, numbers, tooling and positioning, then come back with the honest list: what's working, what's costing you, and what to fix first. Yours to keep either way.

  2. Blueprint

The diagnostic turned into a plan someone can act on: sequenced priorities, written processes, named owners, tooling decisions and the numbers to watch.

  3. Fractional seat

A named COO, CTO or CMO takes a seat on a monthly cadence, with the delivery team behind them and a standing review.

Route two

Start with the delivery

For founders and teams who already know better than anyone what they need, and want expert servicing to lift the business and the margin.

  1. Scope and quote

Tell us the output you need. We confirm the specialists, the timeline and the terms in writing. Work begins on signature, with no strategy engagement attached.

  2. Project collaboration

A defined piece of work delivered by vetted specialists and managed end to end, so you're briefing one point of contact rather than five suppliers.

  3. Outsourced department

The same team on a standing basis, scaling with your season. Capacity when the work is there, and none of the hiring cost or payroll weight when sales are below their usual level.

Commercial structure

A monthly retainer for a standing seat or team, or a project agreement for a defined piece of work. Where an engagement is tied to a clear, measurable result, we are open to building part of the arrangement around that result. We only suggest it when it genuinely fits.

The economics

Capacity that scales with your season.

A permanent hire is a bet on twelve months of steady demand. Most small and mid-sized businesses do not have twelve months of steady demand, and the payroll does not care.

No payroll in the quiet months

You carry the cost of a department only in the months you actually need one. When the pipeline thins, capacity thins with it, and nothing sits idle on the books waiting for work to return.

Specialists, not generalists

One hire gives you one person's range. A vetted network gives you the right specialist for each piece of work, at the moment that piece is live, without asking anyone to pretend they're an expert in it.

Ready when the work is

No search, no recruitment fee, no onboarding runway. Scope it, sign it, and the team starts. When the season turns, you scale up the same way.

Brand DNA

One DNA, running through three systems.

Brand isn't the logo layer on top. It's the source code the rest of the business inherits from, and when it's left undefined, the three things below quietly drift apart.

BRAND DNA Communication Services Operations
  • Communication

What you say, to whom, in which language, and how consistently: externally to the market and internally to your team.

  • Services

What you actually sell, where the specialization sits, what commands a premium, and what you deliberately decline.

  • Operations

How the promise gets kept: the standards, the sequence, the tooling and the people responsible when something slips.

Client outcomes

What it looks like in practice.

Described without naming anyone. Client confidentiality is part of the service, and it applies to you too.

CommunicationsCanada

A Canadian communications firm

A long legacy and deep market experience, with a cost base that had grown quietly around it. We reduced that cost base and rebuilt production resource scheduling, so the same team delivered the same slate at a better margin.

VFX and postSaudi Arabia

A Saudi creative production

VFX production management across a full creative workflow: pipeline, scheduling and delivery run to Hollywood standards, at the point where process and art have to meet without either one giving way.

Standards

What we hold to.

Within, not around

We build inside your business, with your team and your constraints, not a parallel structure that collapses the day we step out.

Know what you want

Clear scope before clear terms. Once the outcome is defined, we don't quietly compromise on it to make a deadline look better.

It's okay to say no

If the work isn't ours to do, or isn't right for you yet, we say so and point you somewhere better. That's the whole reputation.

Questions

Before you book.

How is this different from hiring an agency?

An agency sells you a deliverable and leaves. A fractional executive takes a seat in your business, makes decisions with you, and is accountable for whether the thing actually works. The delivery services exist so that when a decision is made, someone can act on it the same week, but the decision-making is the product.

Can you act as our outsourced vendor without any strategy work?

Yes, and a good share of our work looks exactly like that. You bring the requirement, we bring the person who does that one thing exceptionally well. Because we work across industries, from VFX and post-production to professional services and design, we can tell the difference between a supplier who is genuinely excellent at a discipline and one who simply sells it. That judgement is the part most businesses get wrong when sourcing alone, and it's expensive to get wrong twice. You get specialist-grade treatment on every piece, at the moment you need it, without building and maintaining a roster yourself or carrying one on staff.

What if I only need one piece, just the copy or just the process work?

That's fine. Every service can be bought on its own with no retainer attached. Plenty of engagements start as a single piece of work and stay that way, and plenty of others grow into a standing team once the first piece lands well.

How quickly can you start?

For service and delivery work, as soon as the quote is signed. Scope it, agree the terms, and the specialists begin. For a diagnostic or a fractional seat it depends on current availability, since we deliberately hold a small number of concurrent leadership engagements at any one time. You'll get a real date on the call rather than an optimistic one.

Do you work with businesses outside Canada?

It's a pleasure to. We support clients across North America, MENA and Europe, and international talent can be tailored to the market you're actually selling into. Whether you're globalizing an established company or launching in a new region, the support is built for that market rather than translated into it after the fact.

How do we agree on price?

Scope first, terms second. Fractional seats are monthly, and defined projects are quoted in writing before you commit to anything. You get the number on the call, once we understand the shape of the work, because the same title means very different work at a six-person business and a sixty-person one.

What if it isn't a fit?

We'll tell you on the call, and where we can, point you to someone better suited. A bad-fit engagement costs us more than it costs you.
